Dr. Mark Price, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Mark Price is a compassionate and experienced clinical psychologist who has been helping individuals improve their emotional well-being for over 13 years. He earned his Doctorate in Psychology from Xavier University in 2012 and completed both his internship and post-doctoral residency through APA-accredited programs with a focus on Geriatric Psychology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Price has worked in outpatient hospital settings, gaining deep experience in supporting adults through life’s many transitions. Whether it’s managing anxiety, coping with loss, or navigating age-related changes, his approach is always thoughtful, respectful, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.

Specialties

Dr. Price is trained as a generalist and has developed expertise in two key areas:

  • Geropsychology (Mental Health Care for Older Adults):
    Dr. Price has specialized training in working with older adults, including a full year of post-doctoral residency in Geriatric Psychology. He helps individuals and families navigate the emotional challenges that come with aging, such as declining physical function, retirement, chronic illness, dementia, grief, and caregiving. He also offers assessments for memory concerns and capacity evaluations for healthcare decision-making.

  • Anxiety Disorders:
    Dr. Price provides effective treatment for a variety of anxiety conditions, including:

    • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

    • Social Anxiety

    • Agoraphobia

    • Specific Phobias

He also works with people experiencing:

  • Major depression

  • Adjustment challenges related to health or life changes

  • Grief and loss

  • Chronic pain

  • Substance use, including tobacco cessation and alcohol misuse

  • Caregiver stress and burnout
